The first seeds of the company were planted when Lenora gave up her thriving career as an advertising executive to focus full time on designing jewelry using her personal button collection. Her sister, Alison Dame, soon took business operations in hand, and a full accessories collection was born. 

Lenora's daughter, Madeline, now leads the company's design teams with Lenora as chief operating officer, continuing to guide robust growth despite historically lean economic times. The company is now based in Phoenixville, PA, taking advantage of the homespun and artistic surroundings of downtown Phoenixville.
