My Story:

Hi, I’m Tara — thank you for visiting my website!
If you’re here, you probably share my love for unique fashion and want to explore your wardrobe’s full potential.

My passion began with my Nonna, my Italian grandmother and a talented wedding seamstress. She created many of my special‑occasion pieces — and those for my cousins, my mother, and my aunts — using the finest silks and yarns. From her, I learned early that quality always outweighs quantity.

I was introduced to the wider world of fashion through modeling for Jacobson’s, our local department store in downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan. At ten years old, I discovered how textures and colors could transform how I felt — and that moment sparked my lifelong journey of personal style.

If you know me, you know I’m not afraid of color, bold prints, or statement silhouettes. I believe what we wear reflects how we feel and how we want to show up in the world. I find immense joy in travel and in discovering one‑of‑a‑kind pieces that tell a story.

Whether you visit my boutique or browse online, my mission is to bring you unique, sustainable clothing and accessories that make you feel special — wherever you are, from your living room to across the globe. Each piece I curate is chosen to help you look and feel your absolute best.

Why settle for less when you can ZHUZH it up?
I’m thrilled to share this journey with you — and to bring that spark of joy, craftsmanship, and individuality directly to your wardrobe.

My background in fashion and design services:

I have 5+ years of management experience in the fashion industry.  I worked in management for an upscale boutique in downtown Kalamazoo Michigan, assisted in seasonal buying trips, was a personal stylist for many of our customers and an upscale clothing and creating beautiful displays throughout the store.  My favorite part of the job was putting a smile on my customers faces, knowing that they felt excited and confident with their experience and purchases.  I started my professional journey in the hospitality industry, selling for multiple hotel brands throughout the U.S. then transitioned into owning a lighting and home accessories business for 9 years and then fell in love with the fashion industry.
